Happy New Year! 2013 Journal Embroidery

Happy New Year everyone! One of my favorite crafty moments from 2012 was playing with paper embroidery and filling my journal with different doodles and designs. I am completely addicted now so I thought I would kick off a new year of crafty adventures with a little 2013 embroidery. I tried to make the "0" look like a ball of yarn and the "1" a knitting needle and crochet hook. I hope 2013 is filled with just as many creative moments as the year before. I am so excited to see what happens in the next twelve months and I can't wait to continue filling this space with my inspirations.

Also, I am starting a new challenge for myself this year but I will share more about that tomorrow. What goals are you setting for yourself this year?

2013 is a fresh start and a new page. It's time to start filling it up! :)

  1. I love your new journal page, 2013 is going to be exciting for us all! I'm setting myself a 365 Day Challenge to photograph the progress of my knitting each day :) which should be pretty easy with the amount of knitting I do each day! I'm looking forward to hearing your challenge, we can cheer each other along :D

  9. Happy New Year Meredith!
I'm expecting a lot for this new year. I'm aiming to knit more, create more items to add on my etsy shop, bake a lot, learn new recipes (I'd like to try recipes with nettles this year), and live as simple as possible.
