Art // Polka dot painted pots by Bonjour Johanna.watermelon slush sounds so refreshing right now!
Given the fact that I have over ten polka dot printed shirts/skirts/dresses in my closet I can easily say that I am a fan of dotty patterns. I love seeing dot patterns on such a wide variety of items! Dots are definitely inspiring me this week because I am currently working on a knit project that has an all-over bobble stitch pattern.
I hope you had a great weekend! I certainly did. I got a lot of work accomplished and spent time with friends. What more could I ask for?
A few of you asked about the Sheepish Bloom Drop I mentioned in my last Weekend Plans post. I will post more details later this week but the basic idea is we are going to do something similar to the Sheepish Heart Bomb group yarn bombing event I hosted in February. The idea of a group yarn bomb is a fun way we can use our creativity to make someone else smile. Since I am calling this one the "Sheepish Bloom Drop" clearly it has a floral theme. I can't wait to see your flower creations all around the world! The event will most likely happen the weekend of September 6th. Again, I will share more details later this week. Do you think you can join?
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a great start to the week!
